Being an Excel perfectionist is slowing me down

Hello,

I am in a leadership position now but I still find myself spending too much time in excel because I tend to have to perfect or recreate models. Sometimes it is needed, but most of the time, it wastes time. I am very good with excel but I need to learn to keep it simple sometimes. I know this is less of a technical post, and more of a behavioral post. I would love to hear similar experiences and advice. Thanks

If it is a file which is being used a lot by multiple people, where layout is important, spend more time to make it look perfect.

If it is just a tool for analysis or something, you should not spend too much time on the looks.

So think of how it is being used
