I'm new to excel and am updating a training database. Collumn M has a formula in it that gives me the greater of the dates in I and K collumns. I'm finding that the blank cells put 00/01/1900 in the M collumn. I would like for those ones just to be blank. I've been googling and trying formula after formula with no success, keep getting error messages. Could anyone help me?

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Or even
Excel Formula:
=LET(m,MAX(I5,K5),IF(m=0,"",m))

There is no nee for the ifna, you can just use a default value like
Excel Formula:
=IFS(I5>K5,I5,I5<K5,K5,1,"")
