I have considered Excel, Business Intelligence as career. I want to learn basics but don't know where to start. Can anyone please guide what should be the route. Power Pivot, Power Query or BI. Shall be thankful to all of you

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
A good starting place is Power Pivot and Power Query:

Matt Allington and Rob Collie have produced excellent videos and books also, be sure to search youtube, google, amazon, etc.

The mrexcel Power BI page has many problems/solutions on the subject, start by posting there when you get stuck and in time respond to other people's inquiries.

Power Pivot and Power Query are the main components of Power BI (in an Excel or MS Office context). Older and perhaps more enterprise-oriented applications like Cognos and SSAS are also popular.
