I have 2 columns of asending numbers (Column A and B). Numbers in Column A and B provide a set range within each row. Each row of numbers are numbered accordingly (1,2,3,4....) in Column C. I have a cell on a separate page that contains a typed value (Number x).
The formula must:
Find the number in "column A" that is greater than "Number x" and the number in "column B" that is less than "number x" and give the corresponding row number.
2nd formula
Use the row number "Column C" to identify the corresponding number in "Column A" and add to a new cell.
This driving me nuts.
