I have in mind to do a sort of “backwards scheduling”.
I know when I have to have something ready, see below:
Cell A1 shows the date/time in a specific format: ddd dd mmm yyyy hh:mm
Cell B1 shows the work duration to have the job done. This could be formatted as decimal.
The working hours are Mon-Fri 7:00 to 15:30.
I am thinking I have to create a calendar where I can exclude the Weekends and statutory holidays
If the delivery date is Mon 8:30 AM and the work duration is 6 Hours (0.706 working day) it means I have to start previous Friday around 11AM.
Cell C1 should have the calculated date when I have to start the job to be ready by the delivery date.
Anybody has any idea how this formula should look like?
Thank you in advance.
