Hi. I have quite a lot of cells that are waiting to be filled once results are in. Simply put. =A1

However this returns "0" if A1 is empty, which is not what I want. I get round this by =if(A1="","",A1)

That works fine but is a bit laborious and I'm wondering if I'm missing a trick (easier way to do it).

Many thanks.

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
A one time set-up with a macro for the cells that need the formula.

If 0 is not an option you're using for cell data, you could use a number format to hide the 0.

Solution
The number format sounds viable, how would I do that? I just changed the format for the cell to number, that didn't work.
