I currently have a database with 3 seperate fileds Hours, minutes, seconds. I am creating a fomula to represent total time, and then within a report I want to avg this time by a common transaction. I get an error saying "Can't average an expression". Is this correct, or it there a way to avg the time in report?

Thanks.

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Hi Troy,

Make another query, and make one of the fields in it this expression field from the first query. Then do the average in the new query.
