averaging only visible cells

Hello,

I am slightly ashamed to say that I have forgotten the easy formula for this. I need to get the average of G2,G4,G6,G8,& G10 but only those that are visible. That is if I hide row 4, the average would now only include the remaining 4 cells.

Try

=SUBTOTAL(101,G2:G10)

or

=SUBTOTAL(101,G2,G4,G6,G8,G10)
