Hi , i have a question . How do i find the average for each row? Do i use the =average(number) as in picture 1 and then click on plus or =average(number:number) as in picture 2 and click on plus? I need the data to be in average to run the regression . My professor said that we need to find the average first before run regression for non numeric data but im not sure how to find the average..

Thank you in advance

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Exactly what you write at image2.
And if you write it at one cell. After go to downright of Cell , Mouse cursor changed to black color plus sign. Click on it ,Hold and Drag it right . Then the next cell show average of next column. Also you can do this action to left.

AND for each formula when you put equal sign & write first three letters of formula, formula appears below of writing cell, you can click on it, Then go to Formula bar (Fx section) and Click on it and see detailed description.
