Hi. I have a pivot table. It has supplies listed as a row. My column is Period, Month, Year. and Values of sales and gross margin. waht i need is a 3 month average of the last three months by supplier so I can compare the curent month vs last three months. The table has 13 months of informatiion. Thank you.

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Are suppliers in your row field as well?
So you will group supplier and supplies under month with those totals?
This article could be very helpful you might just have to adjust for a month to include 4 total.
I initially thought maybe using IF and OR (to include only past 4 AVERAGE) but I don't think that will work although it could if you included subtotals.
