Average of PivotChart values from a Data Model

Hi All,

I have searched the forums far and wide to try and find a solution but have come up empty.

I am currently using PowerQuery to bring in some SQL data, perform some transforms and then load it into a data model using Power Pivot. I have created some custom columns to do some calculations on the data as well which I am reporting over using a PivotChart.

The pivot chart is straight from the DataModel, I do not have the data in a worksheet anywhere. I have set up some slicer's which filter the data, I now want the average of the filtered data in the PivotChart but can not work out for the life of me how to do it.

I tried adding a calculated field to the Data Model Calculation area, it calculates the average correctly for the column in the data model, but when adding it into the PivotChart all it does is add the average for each individual value, not an overall data average.

Is there any way to get the average?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance, Achilles18
