Hello, in Excel 2003 I use the following code to autosize comment boxes
However, the line breaks which are inserted automatically when creating the comment, which are determined by the default box size, are dissolved by the macro. In the worst case you end up with a comment consisting of one line only (but a very wide comment box).
However, if you insert a manual line break, it is not changed by the macro.
Ideally there should be a way to resize the comment box vertically only, if that is possible.
Is there such a way to do this?
Or as a second possibility…the comment box can be given a certain size determining its width, but the height should be adjusted automatically and line breaks are implemented as necessary.
Anyone got an idea how to do this?
regards
Code:
Sub Comments_AutoSize()
Dim Kommentar As Comment
For Each Kommentar In ActiveSheet.Comments
With Kommentar
.Shape.TextFrame.AutoSize = True
End With
Next
End Sub
