Autonumber in a Make Table Query

I have a query that builds a table. This query ranks the company's sales representatives by their monthly production volume. A report is then built off of the table created by this query. I have to go into the table after it is built and add an autonumber field. This field is used as the rank # of the salesperson (highest volume = rank of 1, next highest = rank of 2, etc.).

Is there any way to create this autonumber field in the make table query so that I don't have to go and add this to the table afterward?

Thanks!

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
