Because you can only have 1 AUTONUMBER FIELD per table, I was wondering if there was a way that I could create an auto number field in a query, using code? I am not sure how to do this, but basically I have one table that drives the information. I then have 4 queries, all which need their own record number starting at 001. Does anybody know how I can create this calculated field for each of my queries?

Thanks in Advance

Dan

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
If you are using the numbers in a report you could generate the numbers in the report using an accumalative sum..
