Hello guys,

I have a frustrating problem that I really need help on. Im using a user form in excel and integrated a Bluetooth barcode scanner which I scan barcodes into a text box.

once the information is scanned into that text box the information goes into another text box below.

The problem is on occasions when the barcode is scanned the text remains in the first text box and doesn't move down to the next text box below until the enter key is pressed.

is there a reason why it would do that? Maybe the length of the barcode?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
It could depend on the barcode language, but my experience is tab and enter are part of the barcode (after the rest of the information stored). Where it is not pressing enter it's possible the command isn't in the barcode.

it depends on the barcode reader you're using, it should have pressed the Return or Tab key for you.
