Is There a way to use a macro to turn off unneeded Pivot Table rows?

I have one of many questions on how to save time automating Pivot Tables with VBA.

Mine is specific to turning rows off that are not needed. On some of the PIs there are rows that don't add value. I manually turn them off in over 12 tables in a template I use over twenty times each quarter.

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

The example below shows how to hide blank rows. Is this what you need?

Code:
Sub HideBlank()
Dim pt As PivotTable
Set pt = ActiveSheet.PivotTables("Route Pivot6")
pt.PivotFields("Route").PivotItems("(blank)").Visible = 0
End Sub
