HELLO GUYS ,
please i am trying to automate this process using a drop down list with formulars. i want to be able to get the total time spent in the office with a name. there are various people, various TIME IN and TIME OUT. i dont have VBA enabled, is there any way i could get this done. ALSO NOT the numbers (1,2,3) represent last names janitors, just to differentiate them. i will appreciate the help, thanks.

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
you need to enable vba.
make a userform,
user enters their name (or Emp#)
combo box : IN or OUT
click SAVE

this will save to the sheet
[EMP], [IO], [TIMESTAMP]

And of course there will be screwups, where they forget to clock In (or out), so youd have to do some validation on the end results to fix the errors.
