I am using the code below to update a timestamp when the data is changed. My problem is my data is pulled in from a server, =PICurrVal("\\ps-mon-pi\FS:EM_RE.MSR2A_Defeated",0,""), and the time and date only updates if I type something into the cell.

Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
'Updated by Extendoffice 20180830
Dim xCellColumn As Integer
Dim xTimeColumn As Integer
Dim xRow, xCol As Integer
Dim xDPRg, xRg As Range
xCellColumn = 2
xTimeColumn = 3
xRow = Target.Row
xCol = Target.Column
If Target.Text > "0" Then
If xCol = xCellColumn Then
Cells(xRow, xTimeColumn) = Now()
Else
On Error Resume Next
Set xDPRg = Target.Dependents
For Each xRg In xDPRg
If xRg.Column = xCellColumn Then
Cells(xRg.Row, xTimeColumn) = Now()
End If
Next
End If
End If
End Sub

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
The code is placed in Worksheet_Change, only if worksheet is changed will the code be invoked. If you want to code to be run no matter what, put it in Workbook_Open.
