Hello,

Shown is an oversimplified data range from a report which shows a teacher and the number of units he graded over a two week period. Is there a way I could quickly select all of the data in the range so it could be copied and pasted for emailing. Presently I am dragging the cursor over each teacher's data to select it ( e.g. from A7 to F15 to capture teacher Phillip George's data), but there are 30 other teachers' data to individually highlight, and some teachers have data in columns B, C, D, E, and F that go down hundreds of lines, making the dragging method needlessly time-consuming. Thank you for any help you might offer.

It depends on how your data is structured. If each teacher's data is separated from the other teachers data by at least one row then simply placing the cursor in the data range and using 'CTRL-A' to select the cells for copy might work.

Each teacher's data does contain a blank, but Ctl A does not work. It highlights the entire report. What I think might be going on is that the blank row between each range of data looks like it's blank, but in fact isn't. Is there any way of easily removing the data from any blank looking rows without having to select the row and press Del ? When I did that, Ctl A works and only selects one teacher's data. Thanks.

I found a way. Use the Find and Replace. In the find field, leave blank and in the replace field enter some nonsense data that is not in your worksheet. Replace all. Then repeat the process. In Find field, enter qqq, and in the replace field, leave it blank. Replace all will remove all data in seemingly blank rows that are not. Then proceed to use Ctl A for each teacher's data to easily select just that data. Thanks again!
