I wish to automatically copy the contents of a cell in sheet 1 to sheet 2 including the formatting. Is this possible. I have been able to copy the contents, but not the formatting using the =Sheet1!A6.

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
When you do a simple copy & paste the formatting does copy as well. Record it as a macro and you will see something like this:

Sheets("Sheet1").Select
Application.CutCopyMode = False
Selection.Copy
Sheets("Sheet2").Select
Range("C13").Select
ActiveSheet.Paste

This code copies a cell from 1 sheet to another with formatting.
