Hello all :

column t 29 calculates the Risk Reward Ratio "rrr" by getting values from =SUM(Q29)/-N29. I want u29 to calculate the rrr average. I do this by entering the following code =SUM(T29)/1. When I add new values in row 30 I want excel to automatically divide the value by 2 in u30, then again by 3 in u31. I have to manualy change dividing number by 1 then 2 then 3... how can I get excell to do this automatically?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.

Perhaps you could give us some sample data & expected results with XL2BB so we had a better idea of what you have and what you want?

Also, there is no need to put single values in a SUM function.

Your first one could be done as =Q29/-N29

Thanks for the welcome :)

I am not winning with xl2bb.

In the image below is an example. In N column I have to manually select the range and then in this example divide by 5. If I had to add more data in row 10 then I would have to manually select the range from m5 to m10 then divide by 6. How can I get excel to do this automatically?
