Dear all,

I have a table with various fields: "Initials", "JohnJohnson", "PeterDavidson", "AnnYaly", etc. Thus, if the field "Initials" contains letters "JJ", "PD", "AY" etc. the code has to recognize that, e.g. "JJ", belongs to "JohnJohnson" and it should automatically update a field of "JohnJohnson" with "Yes".

Is there a way to do this with MS Access?

Thank you very much for your help!

Here is a link on how to autofill controls in a form. Make sure that your form is bound to your table so that your table automatically updates.
