Automatic suggest data from tabel

Hi Guys,

Question, imagine a tabel with 100 names on a worksheet in Excel. On another worksheet i want to have suggestions of the data on the other worksheet when i fill in some letters in a cell.
So if the name "John Doe" exists in the tabel, and i type "J" in a cell on another worksheet (example in range A1 till A10) the suggestion gives "John Doe". When i hit enter the name "John Doe" comes in the cell.

Is This Possible?

Hi,
What you're trying to achevie is rather impossible in my opinion. You can only assign to a cell a list with options to choose from wheras you cannot make excel to make you suggestions while typing in cell.

The nearest I can think of is to use a Combobox in combination with data validation, a bit too complicated to explain in the thread but see if the links below help...
