Hi there, Is the following possible. I want to create a project scheduler, i currently have made a schedule file that's pretty typical, you enter start / end dates and it fills in the applicable timeline with a coloured fill to create a visual. What i want to make now is a file that you can select a range of days that you want an activity to be done and it will automatically fill in the corresponding start/end dates. I have attached a picture for further explanation. Hopefully it is a relatively easy thing to accomplish. Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Hi, welcome to the forum. Mr. Excel has a great tool that allow YOU to help the forum help much more effectively. Instead of giving screen shot images you can post ACTUAL WORKSHEET minis. Please use the xl2bb tool (link below).

This does three things: 1. the forum doesn't need to recreate your workbook from scratch. 2. No errors in translation of data 3. You'll get faster and more responses.

If you cannot for work systems reason use the tool, then copy your worksheet grid as a table.
If you have problems using the tool there is a link to practice using the tool below as well.

Hey Awoohaw, i downloaded and added the add on. The 'Capture Range' of the Xl2bb tab of my ribbon is greyed out and i am unable to create a mini sheet. Perhaps just on the one issue someone can just suggest a series of formulas that may help me in the right direction? Cant seem to make any progress on it.
