Hi,

Has the "automatic log in" feature been changed?

I no longer get logged in when opening MrExcel.
I have to go to the log in screen and log in; each time I check the box for automatic to no avail.

I am also being automaticly logged out after a period of inactivity, and have to log in again.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Nope... not intentionally at least ;)

Try using the "login" text that appears at the bottom of the Index page, instead of clicking the "Login" button at the top. That's the one I always use...

Thanks Juan,

I'll give it a try.

Have you changed/upgraded your browser? Are you able to accept cookies?

Hi phantom1975,

Thanks for the response.

I've made no upgrade or changes to the browser. I do have cookies in temp. internet folder; including one from MrExcell dated today.

I had been automatically logged in on each visit and had never been automatically logged out until recently. The auto log in feature is working on other sites that I visit.

Strange??

If you're using IE, try this:

Click on Tools\Internet Options\Privacy tab. The bottom part of that should say "websites" and have an edit button. Click that.

In the window that comes up, enter mrexcel.com into the box for "address of web site" then click 'allow', then ok until you're out of the options screen.

That should set it so that cookies from this site are always allowed, no matter what your browser's cookie settings are.

On a different message board I read, I had to do that so that I could stay logged in. Worked a treat.

Hope it helps,
