Hi guys,

I have:

Col 1 Col 2 Col 3
A no
B yes
C no

I need the row to automatically duplicate whenever the value in column 3 is set to “yes”; so as soon as yes is put into the cell manually, it will result in the following:

Col 1 Col 2 Col 3
A no
B yes
B
C no

The idea seems easy to automate in my head; however, I am yet to find an appropriate solution. Is this possible or am I wasting my time here?

Thanks for your input

EDIT: Apologies for the formatting. The no yes should be under Column 3.

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Like this?
VBA Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
  If Not Intersect(Target, Columns("C")) Is Nothing Then
  Application.EnableEvents = False
    If UCase(Target.Value) = "YES" Then
      Target.EntireRow.Copy
      Target.Offset(1).EntireRow.Insert
    End If
    Application.EnableEvents = True
  End If
End Sub
