Hi all-

I'd like to automate transparency settings of pie charts as 100 divided by the # of categories asending over the pie slices [last value will be 0% transparent].

My reports use a single color pallete RGB (152,148,112) in case that matters, but the number of categories in each pie can vary.

We're using Excel 2007.

Any suggesitons greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Brian

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
You will probably need a macro or VBA to do this.

Transparency can't be controlled with a formula or cell that i know of, but probably in a Macro or VBA.
