Hi I wonder if you can help I have searched round the forum but with no luck.

I know how to do autofit in a macro and also autofit for a range of sheets but is it possible to do autofit columns for all sheets in all workbooks in a specific folder.

Reason I ask is that I have about 25 workbooks with some of the workbooks having 25 sheets in.

Would the code make a difference in excel 2003 or excel 2007 as unfortunatley we have both versions here.

Regards

Paul Raymond

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Hi Paul,

Give this ago, will work in both versions

Sub Open_My_Files()
Dim MyFile As String
Dim ws As Worksheet
Dim myPath As String
myPath = "M:\Access Files\" 'Change path
MyFile = Dir(myPath)

Do While MyFile <> ""
If MyFile Like "*.xls" Then
Workbooks.Open myPath & MyFile
For Each ws In Worksheets
ws.Activate
Cells.EntireColumn.AutoFit
Next ws
ActiveWorkbook.Close True
End If
MyFile = Dir
Loop
End Sub
