In my sheet, my formulas extend from (for example, row 10 to row 500). If I existing formula (or add a new column and new formula) on row 10, then I double-click on the autofill handle, it fills the cells downward BUT stops early (at row 499).

It's a bit inconvenient, as for every formula change, I need to auto-fill, then scroll down, then copy the formula from row 499 to row 500.

Does anyone know how to fix this? The columns to the left definitely have formulas down to row 500, but autofill always stops at row 499.

I cannot reproduce that behavior, and have never heard of it happening it before.
A few questions:
1. What column are you trying to auto-fill?
2. What is the value/formula you are trying to autofill down?
3. What is in rows 499 and 500 EXACTLY one column to the left of the column you are trying to auto-fill?
4. Do you have any merged cells in this workbook?
5. Do you have any VBA in this workbook?

Hello,
Thank you for responding to my question. I am reporting back to say the issue is resolved. Due to a unrelated issue, I closed Excel and rebooted my computer. When I opened the file again, autofill then performed normally (or filled down to row 500, as-per my example).
Cheers!

Solution
OK, that is an odd one, but at least you have things working as expected now.
Thanks for reporting back.
