Hi All,
I'm a newbie to Mr Excel so please bear with me!

I have a small problem on a worksheet and have searched for a solution with no luck.

I have a date box (cell A5) that controls a range of dates on multiple pivot charts on a office report which is auto emailed daily. At the end of the report week if you forget to change the date, or are not present, the pivot charts will “zero out”, which is annoying.

My reporting week starts on a Thursday and ends on Wednesday (7 days), so the past reporting week ended on Wednesday 20/3/2019. The end of the next reporting week will be 27/3/2019, and so on.

Is there a way to automate this process and have the date box hold the date for the duration of the 7 days of the current report period, then on the 8th day (Thursday), I want the date to auto update to the end of the next week's reporting period, which will be Wednesday 3/4/2019 and so on?

Thanks for any help.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Thanks Fazza, this appears to work a treat on a test sheet.

Ill load it into the report tonight and let you know how it goes.

Many thanks for your response.

Hi Fazza,
I loaded your formula into the report work-book and it works fine, and so simple.

Thanks again
