Auto sum

Hello people,
Need lil help here. I have this table where a month data is linked to a cell with daily data. As and when daily data is updated month data should get automatically updated along with whatever the data that is accumulated in the month data. For eg
July monthly - 250
Daily - data, so as and when I update data on daily cell it should automatically sum July monthly along with it's existing data. Please help, much appreciated.

Not saying I'll answer this but

Post a sample spreadsheet with expected results, remove any sensitive data, create a mockup example if necessary.

Its just a simple query, let's say there are two cells with daily and monthly data. What I am interested is month getting updated. Now when I enter a data for particular day on days cell I want that to be updated on monthly cell as well. I have tried cell reference but it doesn't take the overall accumulated data on monthly cell. Please help, I appreciate your thoughts and response.

So if there's more than month of data - I can just update ANY old month I feel like?
The answer to that is probably no.
Hence the need for you to upload a file cos I can see at least two scenarios one of which is not what you want so i dont want to waste time working on that one.

Images are no good in this instance, since "Jan" "Feb" "Mar" could be text or a proper date formatted as a month.
Only by lookig at the file can one tell.

hello there above is the illustration, on monthly cell i have 10 at the moment, so what i want is whatever i update on daily, it should sum up the daily and monthly data on monthly cell only. Is this posssible? Much Appreciated.
