Hi Team,

I need one quick help to sum all my sheet data....I have around 200+ sheets with same format and I'm doing one summary sheet where I can see the sum of all sheets (column L) but not able to get the formula .....

Example: Currently using below formula
=Sum('Sheet 1'!L:L)

How to I change the Sheet 1, Sheet 2 ..etc If I drag the formula I'm not getting the results....

Plz help to get the right formula to copy all the sheets column L:L sum details...

Thx

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
In your summary sheet, IN ROW ONE (1)

=SUM(INDIRECT("Sheet"&ROW()&"!L:L"))

will return the result that you're after if you drag the formula down.

Note - ROW() returns 1,2,3,4,5 etc dependent on the position in the sheet. If you want the formula to start somewhere other than row one, you'll need to amend the formula accordingly.

If your values in column L start in cell L1:

=SUM('Sheet1:Last Sheet'!L1)

Copy the formula down to the last row of data in your 200+ sheets

1. In your target workseet put the sum formulat as follows:
1.1 =sum(
1.2 click on the first worksheet in the list + CTRL + click the last worksheet in the list + click the cell you want to sum
1.3 ) ENTER
2. Drag the equation for as many lines you have per sheet

Working this way you don't have to worry for worksheet names, or even if you add some new worksheet in the middle.
