Auto save and close query on a "Macro enabled" spreadsheet

Hello All, I have a spreadsheet with some code for auto-population of cells, this requires the spreadsheet to be saved as "macro enabled". The problem I have is that the code cannot run in "Shared" mode. So I would like to add in some further code to automatically save then close the spreadsheet, as it is used by over 100 users. There is code readily available online for auto saving and closing a spreadsheet and I have tried several versions, but they all require the spreadsheet to be in a "non macro enabled" state.
Does anybody have ideas how I can achieve both the auto-population and the auto save and close?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Steve

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Why not just add
Code:
ThisWorkbook.close True
to the end of your macro.
That will close & save the workbook.
