Auto-refresh a worksheet linked to Access?

Hi all, I have a worksheet that links to an Access query that needs to be refreshed each Friday and someone notified once done.

Can this process be automated at all?
 

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Sort by date Sort by votes
Use the windows scheduler to run a macro to refresh the connection.
