Good afternoon Brains trust!

I am hoping you could assist me please. I have a basic spreadsheet that has two separate tabs. I am hoping to auto-populate the first tab as much as possible by entering a number, and have selected information pull through from the second tab.

Essentially, I would like to populate B1 with an 8-digit number, and have the following fields automatically populate B2, B3, B4 etc. The 8-digit number (common denominator) is available in the second tab.

I am hoping to not have any formulas show (NA) when the 8-digit number has not been used (so everything looks blank). I tried to do vlookups but failed miserably so not sure what I am doing wrong!

As always, I appreciate the time and advice you provide,

Regards,

Rox :)

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Can you give us the data from that image with XL2BB so that we can easily copy it?

Can you also give us a small sample (say 10 rows) from the second tab, also with XL2BB, so that we can see (& use) the actual layout that you have? Otherwise we are left to guess what the data on that sheet is like.
