Auto formatting issue...

Hi guys,

I have a CSV exporter which converts a PDF into excel

where the PDF file has customer details like Name, Guardian name, House no, Gender etc.,

Now the problem is whenever i use the CSV exporter the zero in house no removes automatically

For example:

Actual data of House no in PDF is 03
While using CSV exporter it converts House no to 3

One more example

Actual data of House no in PDF is 1-1
While using CSV exporter it converts House no to 01-Jan

Is there any way to permanently disable or turn off auto formatting in excel 2007?

If not suggest some good alternatives to fix this issue.

Hope you guys reply soon...

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
This sounds like a two-step process, exporting from PDF to cvs and importing from cvs to Excel. Can you open the cvs file and see if you have 03 or 3? If you have 03, maybe you can configure the cell format to text before importing. If not, you need to work on the cvs exporter.
