I am having a problem with a fill issue. On a 'Calendar' tab I am trying to fill cells E3 through to AI3. Cell E3 states ='Holiday Leave'!B5, Cell E4 states ='Holiday Leave'!B6. I need this to continue with B7, B8, B9 etc. When I use the fill option it continues a sequence using the Letter instead of the Number. Is there an easy fix for this as in changing the fill option or do I need to insert a formula. I have came across this problem several times and have never worked it out.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Am I correct in thinking that your source data in top to bottom and your fill link is left to right.

I don't think fill handles will do that and copy paste link wont either.

The only thing I can think of is using a pivot table and putting the contents of the holiday leave column into the column labels of a pivot table.
