Auto-Email Spreadsheet to a Group Once a Week at Set Time

I'm trying to make a spreadsheet email itself out to a list of recipients every Monday at 06:30. I'm not sure how to set this up, and if I need to have the spreadsheet or Outlook open for it to send (preferably not).

Apologies, I'm not a whiz with Excel but I'm trying to learn

Hi,

Task Scheduler can be used to run a batch file at the set time.
The batch file will open the Excel file.
A workbook open event set up in the Excel file calls the email macro
The macro sends the mail.

It's convoluted and takes a little setting up but is reliable.
