auto date input?

Hi,

can i make excel automatically date the squares, like, 1/1/2000 in a1, 2/1/2000 in a2, 3/1/2000 in a3 and so on..

i thought it'd be pretty simple, apparently not..

can you guys help? thanks :)
 

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Put the begin date in cell A1, and drag the fill handle (small cross in the lower right corner of the cell) to as far as you need. Release the mouse button and you're done.
