In Word I need to enter text and have it automatically appear in several different locations in the document. For example when typing a date on page 1, how do I get the same date to also appear on other pages without having to retype it on each page? Thanks for your help. Claude

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
There are a number....

There are a number of ways of doing this.

You might want to use bookmarks.

Highlight the text you want to repeat. Choose menu: Insert/Bookmark.

Then where you want the stuff repeated, you would use the "ref" field code.

Another way of doing it, is to define a special style, then use a "styleref" field code.

Should be enough to get you going in the right direction
