Hi all, i work in procurement and deal with price escalation formulas constantly. We look to the Aust Bureau of Statistics Price Indexes and Inflation numbers for the purposes of contract price escalation and market trends. On an individual basis, i tend to direct those who ask to the particular index and use the Series ID as the unique key so there can be no confusion. The unfortunate part of this that you can't put the series id into a search engine and be taken to that particular data series.

Does anybody have a work around?

Maybe other countries use similar structures when they publish their trade indices, so if you have a relevant answer, please don't be deterred by the Aussie headline.

:o)
