Auditing Across Several Sheets

Hi,

I'm trying to check somebody else's excel workbook using the Audit (trace precedents / dependents). Unfortunately, when the cell has a dependent on another sheet within the same workbook, it only shows a wee spreadsheet symbol. It doesn't even give a hint as to which other sheet this dependent may be on.

Unfortunately I'm on a networked machine, so I can't use the Explode Add-In that has previously been suggested in this forum.

Any ideas on how to establish the dependents on another sheet within the same workbook?

Thank you in advance.

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Double click on the little line linking the formula cell to the other sheet icon (having used the Trace Precedents tool) - this will then bring up a dialog with all the links.

Thank you Richard,

I spent ages clicking on the wee spreadsheet icon and trying everything else except clicking on the line. I couldn't believe that the audit fuctionality couldn't cope with multiple sheets.

Thanks again

I loved Firefly!!! That was the best sci-fi series I have ever seen. Can't believe it was canned after just the one series

Aye - me too. Loved all the characters, but Jayne (and Vera) was my favourite. Glad they made Serenity, but it was a shame they killed off Wash:confused:
