usually I always get a quick response to my threads.

I initially posted a thread regarding an explanation required for an INDIRECT formula issued by a member. All I need is an explanation as to what a small portion of the fx means.

When I didn't get any responses you told me to go back to the initial thread and start from there. I still haven't rec'd a response so what should I do?

Post a new thread? Which I might do shortly and I'll get blasted again!.
Don't mean to mess things up here. But I need someone to answer before I can proceed.

As advised go back to the original thread.

Create a reply and state why the suggestions provided aren't working for you.

The advantage of this is 3-fold.
  1. It will bump it to the top of the forum.
  2. It saves you having to explain it again.
  3. It will allow everybody to see everything suggested
and why those suggestions didn't work.
  4. It won't incur the wrath of Von Pookie.:)

If you are having trouble locating the original try clicking Watched Topics.

"Wrath" seems a bit harsh ;)

But yes, this is pretty much what you should do. Your other threads were locked since we try to keep duplicate questions to a minimum. It can be rather aggravating to work on a reply to a question only to find that it has already been answered in another thread.

As to Norie's suggestions above, you only want to use the Watched Topics option if you are actually "watching" said topic. In your case, I would suspect the "View your posts in this forum" link to be of more help.

Oop. Sorry, I didn't mean to lock this thread. I meant to *move* it--and apparantly not paying much attention. Eh, it's Monday.

Anyway, this is in the "About the board" forum, now.
