Attachments - how do i change my permissions to allow me to attach a document please?

well, you can't attach documents on this forum.
You can however, upload the worksheet / workbook to dropbox, then post the link to it back here.

Welcome to the MrExcel forum.

It is always easier to help and test possible solutions if we could work with your actual file.

Perhaps you could upload a copy of your file to a free site such as www.box.com or www.dropbox.com.

Once you do that, mark it for 'Sharing' and you will be given a link to the file that you can post here.

Include a detailed explanation of what you would like to do referring to specific cells and worksheets.

If the workbook contains confidential information, you could replace it with generic data.

If you are going to be answering questions in the "About This Board" forum regarding file attachments, please be sure to include the options that Rory referred to, and are actually also listed here: https://www.mrexcel.com/forum/board-announcements/127080-guidelines-forum-use.html. That is the preferred method of the board, as many people cannot/will not download files from the internet, and those links can become worthless over time as they sometimes expire.
