Hello, I am building an Access database strictly for letters, notifications, and sorting for Charity. When I send notices from Access for additional information and recipients respond via email and I save that email as a PDF, is there a way to upload that PDF into Access or at least have a command button in Access that will link Access to that response? Any help would be appreciated.

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
The generally preferred method is to store the path to a file in a table field rather than the file itself. While Access does support embedding files in tables, it quickly causes the db to grow in size. Others report it tends to slow it down and raise the risk of corruption. I wouldn't know for sure since I've always steered away from the practice. The alternative is to store the complete file path in a table (usually as text). To make it more user friendly to pick that path, the msoFileDialogFilePicker is often used. If you only need to pick a folder (say, to pick a place to store a file) the msoFileDialogFolderPicker will do. Either will require a reference to VB Runtime Scripting (if I recall correctly).
