Hi,

Is there any way to attach outlook item using Attachment Data Type?

Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
In Access when field is assign as attachment data type you will get to browse only folders. What I want is for me to have the ability to browse MS OUTLOOK ITEMS. I dont know if this is possible using Attachment Data Type.

Ah so. Now I understand. I've never seen the functionality you describe. Something you could do as an easy workaround is drag desired emails from the Outlook window to a folder (where they appear as .msg files) then browse/attach the .msg file(s) to the desired Attachment record/field in Access.
