I have a need to understand how frequently parades consist of all 8 planets
with the sun either leading the parade or coming at the end of the parade.

How do I calculate the dates and frequency of these events?

I need to see 20,000 years into the past and 8,000 years into the future.

Is there a location with this data already available?

Requirements:

Must be all 8 planets
Sun must either lead or follow the parade
ie Sunset sun leads the parade of 8
or Sunrise sun follows the parade of 8

I expect the dates to be hundreds if not thousands of years apart from each
other.

I have stellarium software and can observe these dates. I have been searching
for a method to know this for several years. Ebea on your site appears to be the most
knowledgeable and helpful resource available. If you can recommend other
sources please let me know.

Sincerely,

Ronald G Barnes

this is not an excel question, more a google-question, otherwise you need their formulas

How did you find these? Do you have a formula to calculate other such events?
