I have a database that I'm doing a make-table in a macro. Even though it starts in an assigned category, when I make the table it moves it back to unassigned objects. Is there a way to move it back in my macro?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
ok, very confused.
You run a make table Qry. not sure what assign catagory means....it builds a table with field [catagory]?

whats an unassigned object? where is it unassigned? in a form?

Sorry. You can create custom categories in the navigation pane on the left to group together like tables, queries, forms, etc. I have several grouped together in a custom category, include an output table from a MakeTable. When I run the macro that has one step to run a maketable query it makes the table and moves it back to the unassigned objects.
