How would I go about assigning a 7 digit number automatically in a table? I have tried to tell it auto number but it won't do it because of my key number is auto. HELP?? Thank you,
Kasey

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Hi Kasey
Why do you want 2 autonumbers? What will be different about the 2nd autonumber? And if you don't mind me asking, why 7 digits?

Here is an example that i used for an invoice number. Make sure your table has the field invoice number in it with a value an it will do the rest.
I hope this helps

Me!INVOICE_NUMBER.DefaultValue = Nz(DMax("[INVOICE NUMBER]", "TBLINVOIVENUMBER"), 0) + 1
