Hi

I saw a thread today which has a technique I'd never seen before. The thread is now answered and is (I assume) effectively closed.

What's the best way to ask about this technique? Do people normally start a new thread? Or is it normal practice to PM the author?

If I do start a new thread, how do I put in a link to a previous thread?

Thanks in advance.

You can post a query to the original thread......but probably if it's more than a few days old it would be best to start your own thread and explain specifically what you need, with a link if necessary, you can copy the link from the bar above and then use the "Insert link" button in the Message toolbar [ it's the one with a globe and a link]
